Uprisings in the Middle East and Africa. Solution?

Ooh.

There’s a serious post topic eh? One to really chew on, pontificate and essentially fap yourself into a frenzy about.

The thing is this site is entitled “digital flotsam and jetsam” and has in the past featured music videos, film trailers, photos of tattoos and other inconsequential guff that just wastes 5 minutes of your day.

So why the heavy title? Is TheBoyMitchell about to wade into the increasing uncertainty that is going on in the Middle East and Africa? is it about to come up with some salient points about democracy and the UK and Americas position in it (after having funded the weapons and the army training for zillions of years). Are we even going to mention the whole Hoo Haa about Iran deeming the 2012 Oplympics logo ‘racist’ even though they obviously are oblivious that the logo is 4 fucking years old and they didnt mention it then because they were too busy building James Bond style weapons (allegedly)?

No.

I just wanted to post up this awesome pic of the Iranian leader and potentially bring a Fatwa on my head. Cos I’m a masochist, and a bit weird like that. Remember kids – this man will have his finger on the button sooner rather than later.

What a guy.

Parties I have missed

When I was younger I used to love a good party. These days, barely a drop passes my lips and I am usually tucked in bed with a hot cocoa and a copy of one of Ben Dovers finely crafted movies by 10 O’Clock. However back then, I could party with the best – usually [...]

Anyway, you like films. I like films. And 2011 is shaping up to [...]

TheBoyMitchell – art critic (yes, I’ve gone all highbrow)

As both my readers will testify, this blog is usually a load of old whimsical bollocks – film reviews, music vids and general bits and pieces that make me smile. However, I have just found out about Jason deCaires Taylor, and man I am impressed with his work.
Jason is a sculptor. He sculpts with concrete. [...]

Tough times for Bookmakers forces Rebrand

Both of the readers of this blog will notice that there are a few banners around the site for various online casinos. No-one clicks on them, they are just there to add some colour (not really – you can click on them and try and win some money if you want).
But it would seem that [...]

Katy Perry banned from Sesame Street

The ever so fragrant Katy Perry has been banned from the official Sesame Street You Tube channel after a raft of complaints to the site by angry parents. Apparently these parents (who I am assuming are all jealous wimmin) werent too happy about the beautiful green strapless dress and veil that she was wearing.
Luckily I [...]

The Pope visits London

Well, he’s finally here for the first time in 30 years and as is the norm with internet humour, various people have been making jokes about him looking like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars and having the Dark Side theme tune wafting out of his £75k Popemobile. Which is whimsical, but not really funny.
However, this [...]
